Worcon decided to offer to the industry Machine Desk, an innovative software solution for managing projects and tasks in machining, and Kodius helped develop it from scratch.

About Machine Desk

The future of manufacturing

Croatian startup Worcon provides manufacturing companies with innovative digital solutions to improve their business operations.

Worcon’s clients are primarily from the automotive, transportation, pharmaceutical, and aviation industries.

In 2020, they launched Machine Desk, one of their latest products. It’s a software solution for project and task management for CNC shop floors.

This innovative tool enables a better flow of information in production processes, which improves the quality of the final product, reduces production costs, and increases overall company productivity.

How The Collaboration Started

The creation of a dream team

Worcon needed to build a cloud-based project management tool from scratch. Our agency was recommended to them by an external partner as experts using the latest and greatest technologies, and we were the most competitively priced.

All of those factors played a part in the decision, but there was one more thing they really liked: we had no problem with their plan for us to establish the architecture and then continue with development with their in-house team.

The wonderful thing about this project was the freedom to choose the technologies we wanted and the ability to make use of the best available tools, practices and conventions on a project built from scratch.

Providing knowledge to the in-house team

Educating their own in-house developers took time but was worthwhile.
