RESCUE SPRINT · FIXED 4-WEEK ENGAGEMENT

Four weeks. A senior team. A plan you can defend.

A fixed-scope, fixed-price engagement for funded SaaS founders whose product is in trouble. We audit what's actually there, ship the most painful fixes, and hand you a 90-day roadmap you can run with — or hand back to us as an embedded team.

WHAT WE ACTUALLY DO

Week by week, on a clock you can plan around.

01 Week 1

Audit

Read the code, talk to your team, map the architecture. Security, performance, dependencies, ops. We surface the load-bearing risks and the cheap-to-fix wins.

02 Week 2

Quick wins

Ship the fixes that buy you the most breathing room: the broken deploy pipeline, the security hole, the queue that keeps falling over. Real PRs into your repo.

03 Week 3

Stabilize

Set up monitoring you can actually read. Document the bits that lived only in the previous lead's head. Triage the bug backlog and close what we can.

04 Week 4

Roadmap & handoff

A written 90-day roadmap with owners, risks, and budget. A handoff doc your next team — ours or yours — can pick up on day one.

What's included

  • A senior engineer and product lead embedded in your Slack and repo for four weeks.
  • Architecture, security, performance, and ops audit with a written report.
  • Real code shipped into your repo — typically 10–30 PRs over weeks 2–3.
  • A 90-day written roadmap with owners, sequencing, and budget.
  • Handoff document your next team can read on day one.
  • Weekly progress demo on Friday. One scheduled call per week with you.

What's not included

  • A full rebuild. Four weeks buys clarity and triage, not a new product.
  • Open-ended scope creep. New work outside this sprint becomes a separate engagement.
  • Hourly billing or change orders. Price is fixed at signature.
  • A junior bench or rotating contractors. The named team starts and finishes.
FAQ

The things founders ask before signing.

Why 100% upfront?

Because the engagement is short, fixed, and dense. Upfront removes payment friction in the middle of week 3 when we should be shipping fixes, not chasing invoices. It also screens for serious prospects.

What if the audit finds something catastrophic?

You still get the audit, the quick wins we can ship, and a written roadmap for the rebuild. The Rescue Sprint is the right way to find out — quickly, on a fixed budget — whether you need a rebuild at all.

Can the Rescue Sprint roll into a longer engagement?

Yes, and that's usually the right move. Most Rescue Sprints flow into an Embedded Product Team for the next 3–9 months. The roadmap deliverable is built so either path works.

Who actually shows up?

A named senior engineer and a named product lead, plus one of our designers or DevOps engineers as the work demands. No rotating bench, no junior subcontractors.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, before kickoff, and we'll sign yours rather than push ours.

What if we're not a fit?

If we don't think a Rescue Sprint will help — too early, wrong stack, wrong stage — we'll say so on the discovery call. We don't do hourly staff aug, pre-seed equity, or RFP work.

READY TO START

Tell us what's on fire.

One discovery call. We'll tell you honestly whether a Rescue Sprint is the right fit — or point you somewhere better if it's not. No sales deck, no junior SDR.

  • Previous agency shipped a mess
  • CTO or lead engineer left
  • AI-built MVP hit a wall
  • Something is on fire and you need a plan
